Eight, nine, ten….no , no, …chalo , continue., don’t stop , and u push up, now u all stop , get up, run, सीधे घर भागकर जाओ,… this scene is not only of Ambala Haryana where policemen caught ppl violating lockdown restrictions and had come out for mrng walks but these scenes are now everyday occurrence, everywhere…Delhi Govt extended lockdown till 10th May, Orissa Govt has announced that state would observe lockdown from 5th to 17th May etc, etc, so and so person died for want of oxygen , ppl are posting desperate messages on different social media groups that their’s so and so relative is critical and needs Remsedevir injections or plasma or bed in hospital etc., we never anticipated say ten months before that this second mutation of Corona virus would make our first phase phrases like tracing, testing, isolation, containment zone etc irrelevant and obsolete but new phrases like more oxygenated beds, more critical care units, more faviflu tab, more Remsedevir, more tocilizumab , more plasma would become in everyday medical lexicon and of course mass coverage of vaccination.
This imbalance between nature and humans, this over exploitation of natural resources, this mindless balding of earth surface by depleting green cover ,this immoral pollution of air and water sources been concern of many sensible environmentalists for last five-six decades, there been different forums and NGOs active in different parts of country but it remained almost exclusive domain and of few pioneers and intellectuals of the society, general population at large remained insensitive to these environmental concerns, they generally showed indifference attitude-“ Not for us” type and they kept on with their’s bad ways -spraying pesticides, fungicides, felling trees, destroying virgin forests, polluting rivers and ponds but now when ppl are gasping for प्राण वायु oxygen I think first time ever they are becoming aware that we need to respect nature , we need to create green lungs in our cities by planting thousands and thousands of trees, we must keep our water sources pollution free, we must have enough reserve of fresh oxygen,
Once I was reading one article in one magazine that USA invited tenders to pull down all CO2 legacy in the environment and bury it deep inside the soil (carbon sequestration), one firm asked for many hundred dollars to convert one tonne of CO2 , this work of carbon sequestration plants are doing for free, through their’s photosynthesis process, when I happened to be ADG/IG Gwalior zone , on 1st July 2019(on the day of my birthday) I had started this movement of planting thousands and thousands of trees in whole of Bundelkhand,I had organised programs, did public speaking coaxing and motivating ppl to go for massive plantation,
After coming here in Churachandpur Manipur and finding Nature in its best virgin state,nature, nature and more nature everywhere, first time ever in my 26 yrs of service career I m blessed with such daily routine of going for daily long jungle walks, eating fresh bio-veggies and inhaling lungsfull of fresh air, sunning my self in warm therapeutic sunlight, what more one can ask from God in these trying times when ppl are condemned to remain shut up inside houses and if they come out for brief respite, for fresh mrng air they are given punishment of push ups and sit ups like Ambala mrng strollers were made to suffer,
Why don’t we take a lesson from this recurring pandemic, why don’t we go for more sustainable ways of living, more in sync with nature, more healthy, more long lasting, more blissful then Nature also responds in equal measures like Nature is doing here in beautiful heavenly place-Churachandpur Manipur.

सुरक्षित रहें, स्वस्थ रहें, प्रकृति का सम्मान करें!

आठ, नौ, दस …. नहीं, नहीं, … चलो, जारी रखो।, रुको मत, और तुम ऊपर धक्का, अब तुम सब रुक जाओ, उठो, दौड़ो, मेल घर भागो,… यह दृश्य केवल अंबाला हरियाणा का नहीं है, जहां पुलिसकर्मी लॉकडाउन प्रतिबंधों का उल्लंघन करते हुए पकड़े गए और सैर के लिए निकले थे, लेकिन ये दृश्य अब हर जगह, हर जगह हो रहे हैं…दिल्ली सरकार ने 10 मई तक लॉकडाउन बढ़ाया, उड़ीसा सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि राज्य लॉकडाउन का पालन करेगा। ५ से १७ मई आदि, आदि, और इसी तरह ऑक्सीजन की कमी के कारण व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो गई, पीपीएल विभिन्न सोशल मीडिया समूहों पर हताश संदेश पोस्ट कर रहे हैं कि उनके रिश्तेदार की हालत गंभीर है और उन्हें अस्पताल में रेमसेडेविर इंजेक्शन या प्लाज्मा या बिस्तर आदि की आवश्यकता है। हमने दस महीने पहले कभी यह अनुमान नहीं लगाया था कि कोरोना वायरस का यह दूसरा उत्परिवर्तन हमारे पहले चरण के वाक्यांशों जैसे ट्रेसिंग, परीक्षण, अलगाव, नियंत्रण क्षेत्र आदि को अप्रासंगिक और अप्रचलित बना देगा, लेकिन नए वाक्यांश जैसे अधिक ऑक्सीजन युक्त बेड, अधिक क्रिटिकल केयर यूनिट, अधिक फेविफ्लू टैब, अधिक रेमसेडेविर, अधिक टोसीलिज़ुमैब, अधिक प्लाज्मा दैनिक चिकित्सा शब्दावली और निश्चित रूप से टीकाकरण के बड़े पैमाने पर कवरेज में बन जाएगा।

प्रकृति और मनुष्यों के बीच यह असंतुलन, प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का यह अति दोहन, घटते हरित आवरण द्वारा पृथ्वी की सतह का यह नासमझ गंजापन, वायु और जल स्रोतों का यह अनैतिक प्रदूषण पिछले पांच-छह दशकों से कई समझदार पर्यावरणविदों की चिंता का विषय रहा है, अलग-अलग मंच हैं और देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में सक्रिय गैर सरकारी संगठन, लेकिन यह लगभग अनन्य डोमेन बना रहा और समाज के कुछ अग्रदूतों और बुद्धिजीवियों के, सामान्य आबादी बड़े पैमाने पर इन पर्यावरणीय चिंताओं के प्रति असंवेदनशील रही, उन्होंने आम तौर पर उदासीनता का रवैया दिखाया- “हमारे लिए नहीं” प्रकार और उन्होंने रखा अपने बुरे तरीकों से – कीटनाशकों का छिड़काव, कवकनाशी, पेड़ों की कटाई, कुंवारी जंगलों को नष्ट करना, नदियों और तालाबों को प्रदूषित करना, लेकिन अब जब लोग प्राण वायु ऑक्सीजन के लिए हांफ रहे हैं, तो मुझे लगता है कि पहली बार वे जागरूक हो रहे हैं कि हमें प्रकृति का सम्मान करने की आवश्यकता है, हमें चाहिए हजारों-हजारों पेड़ लगाकर अपने शहरों में हरे फेफड़े बनाने के लिए, हमें अपने जल स्रोतों को प्रदूषण मुक्त रखना चाहिए, w ई के पास ताजा ऑक्सीजन का पर्याप्त भंडार होना चाहिए, एक बार जब मैं एक पत्रिका में एक लेख पढ़ रहा था कि यूएसए ने पर्यावरण में सभी CO2 विरासत को नीचे खींचने के लिए निविदाएं आमंत्रित कीं और इसे मिट्टी (कार्बन सीक्वेस्ट्रेशन) के अंदर गहराई तक दफनाया, एक फर्म ने एक टन CO2 को परिवर्तित करने के लिए कई सौ डॉलर मांगे, यह काम कार्बन सीक्वेस्ट्रेशन प्लांट मुफ्त में कर रहे हैं, उनकी प्रकाश संश्लेषण प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से, जब मैं एडीजी / आईजी ग्वालियर क्षेत्र में हुआ था, 1 जुलाई 2019 को (मेरे जन्मदिन के दिन) मैंने हजारों और हजारों पेड़ लगाने का यह आंदोलन शुरू किया था। पूरे बुंदेलखंड में, मैंने कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया था, बड़े पैमाने पर वृक्षारोपण के लिए लोगों को प्रोत्साहित किया और लोगों को प्रेरित किया।

चुराचांदपुर मणिपुर में यहां आने के बाद और हर जगह प्रकृति, प्रकृति, प्रकृति और अधिक प्रकृति को अपनी सबसे अच्छी कुंवारी अवस्था में पाकर, मेरे 26 साल के सेवा करियर में पहली बार मुझे दैनिक लंबी जंगल की सैर, ताजा खाने के लिए जाने की ऐसी दैनिक दिनचर्या का आशीर्वाद मिला है। जैव-सब्जी और ताजी हवा से भरे फेफड़ों में सांस लेना, गर्म चिकित्सीय धूप में खुद को धूप में रखना, इन कठिन समय में भगवान से और क्या मांग सकता है जब पीपीएल को घरों के अंदर बंद रहने की निंदा की जाती है और अगर वे थोड़ी राहत के लिए बाहर आते हैं, तो ताजा मृंग एयर उन्हें अम्बाला की तरह पुश अप्स और सिट अप्स की सजा दी जाती है, मृंग स्ट्रॉलर को भुगतना पड़ता है।

हम इस बार-बार आने वाली महामारी से सबक क्यों नहीं लेते, क्यों न हम जीवन जीने के अधिक टिकाऊ तरीकों के लिए जाते हैं, प्रकृति के साथ अधिक तालमेल बिठाते हैं, अधिक स्वस्थ, अधिक लंबे समय तक चलने वाले, अधिक आनंदित होते हैं तो प्रकृति भी प्रकृति की तरह समान उपायों में प्रतिक्रिया करती है। यहाँ सुंदर स्वर्गीय स्थान-चुराचंदपुर मणिपुर में कर रहा है।
